As badass as Streetfighters Z is, a wicked fast 2JZ isn't exactly special as said above they routinely make these numbers. Then again a quick RB for that matter isn't so special either.

I personally find it far more impressive to do it with the VG30, not so much from a purists point of view but it's more impressive to make such numbers out of a much older engine I think.

With that said Streetfighter knows his shit, and that swap is very badass and he executed it very well so full marks to him.

this 2JZ Z31 doesnt qualify for that, since he swapped to an engine that isnt underestimated. Why did he do it? Idk, maybe he underestimated the VG30?

He works for Boost Logic. They specialize in Supras. Therefore, he can get the 2jz parts easy, and more of them with the huge aftermarket.
Austin has a fairly large car scene with quite a few of them being 500+hp. So it's still cool that he's beating pretty much all of them.

Yeah, he is a really cool guy. Little hard to get a hold of when buying stuff from but good guy none the less. He has even bigger plans out for that poor 86.

I met him when his company drove all the way from Texas to Phoenix to race in some Supra Invitational. Then there was some political bullshit that accompanied the cars and neither of their cars were allowed to run. He told me his plans at the time and I was seriously impressed. And he told me the work that he himself had performed on the cars and I was looking forward to seeing what he'd do with his own car. It is exceptional. This kid (and he really is) knows his shit.
